D.- As proprietor of an attractive cigar and tobacco establishment which is the oldest house in this line of trade in this part of Brooklyn, Mr. Joseph Stamper has for many years been prominent in trade circles. He occupies a large salesroom 20x60 feet in dimensions, with a factory in the rear, and employs in the latter a large force of skilled workmen in the manufacture of fine cigars, for the superior excellence and flavor of which he is noted among dealers and smokers generally in the city. He carries in stock the finest brands of smoking, chewing, and plug tobaccos, and imported cigars, and supplies the trade at lowest possible wholesale rates, successfully competing in prices and quality of merchandise with any other jobbing house in New York or Brooklyn. Mr. Stamper is a native of Germany.
