State Liquor Authority

All businesses serving alcholic beverages are required by the SLA
to submitt applications for a Liquor License.
The applicants are required to be fingerprinted and a background check
is done to see if there are any 'ties' to undersirable activities,
and if the applicant has ever been arrested for a crime or a
'Drunk while driving (DWI) or 'Under the influence of drugs' arrest.

They can tell you about the place of business, it's location and
when it exsisted.
As of my inquiry they did NOT charge a fee.
