noon today by Detectives Wunderberg and Bothney of the Sixteenth District
Detective Bureau, the police believe they have solved the numerous brass robberies
that have occurred in the Eastern District during the last two and a half months.
The place where Neil worked as a watchman, a lumberyard on Greenpoint avenue, near
Morgan avenue, had missed many rolls of brass lately. Since Sunday he had been
shadowed and he was arrested today.
Outside of Neil's home was the sign "Electrician, Typewriters Repaired," which the
police say was a suberfuge [sic].

Among LUSTGARTEN's victims are F. LEUBUSCHER, Frank L. MONTAGUE, ex-City
