In the 1880's, the town of Jamaica NY (Queens Co, NY) deaths were registered in a book.
When I ordered information on my ancestor, I received a full page of
the book. In hope that this info will help someone somewhere, I am posting the
contents of that page of the death register.
Note: The register had very thin lines, leaving the register very little
room to work in This clerk also had rather bad handwriting. There were some problems
in the records (compare # 1705 and 1706), and number 1715 (to be posted in part 2)
