The following is a list of existing records for each borough

MANHATTAN:
Deaths: 1795; 1802 - 1804; 1808; 1812 - 1948

BROOKLYN:
Deaths: 1847 - 1853; 1857 - 1948

BRONX:
Deaths 1898 - 1948

The Bronx did not exist as a separate Borough until 1898.
Before then it was part of Westchester County, except for certain
western areas which were annexed by New York (Manhattan) in 1874
and some eastern areas in 1895. For Vital Records search
Manhattan.

QUEENS:
Deaths: 1898 - 1948

RICHMOND  (STATEN ISLAND:
Deaths: 1898 - 1948

COSTS AND FEES

$10.00 for search of records in one year and one City / Borough for one
name and issuance of one certified copy or ; Not Found statement.

$2.00 for each additional year for same name
$2.00 for each additional borough for same name
$5.00 for each additional copy or issuance of a
certificate when the certificate number is provided
