PUBLIC SCHOOL NO. 32
Hoyt street near President 22 December 1877 Brooklyn Union-Argus The closing exercises of Public School No. 32, Mr. S.M. SPRITE, Principal, were held in the schoolhouse, yesterday. The exercises, which were all excellently rendered, consisted of vocal and instrumental music (including cornet and piano solos and duets, and vocal solos and choruses), reading, recitation, composition and addresses. The active participants were Senor SALCEDO, Misses Ida REIMER Misses Ella DEAN, Master William BRORTON, Misses Inez MOSER, Misses Addie COOK Misses Addie PENSE, Master Ed. ARNOUX, Miss Gertrude MEEKER, Master Albert THOMPSON, Misses Ida MOLLENHAUR, Misses Joanna MOLLENHAUR, Miss Gussie STEVENSON, Miss Lizzie POLLICK Master James McELHINUEY, the choruses being rendered by the school. The exercises were received with frequent applause by the audience, and were closed with appropriate addresses of commendation and encouragement by Rev. Drs. INGERSOLL and CARPENTER, and by Messrs.
