Gold street, near Water Brooklyn Union-Argus July 3, 1877 The closing exercises of Primary School No. 5, were held this afternoon in the presence of a large number of the parents and friends of the pupils. The programme, which consisted of readings, recitations, solos and choruses, was especially interesting, and in the manner in which it was interpreted by the little ones reflected much credit on the painstaking principal, Mrs. C. Murphy.
