The twenty-fifty annual reception of Public School No. 14, was held this morning.  
The exercises were conducted by Dr. Benjamin F. EDSON, the Principal, 
and Miss H. M. COFFIN, principal of the Female Department.  
Miss COFFIN has been connected with the school since it's opening.  
She was presented with several handsome bouquets by her pupils.

There were declamations by John H. HABRENBURG and John A. BURKE; 
recitation by Charles TONGUE; 
readings by :

Maggie OAKES, 
Jenny LEE, 
Louisa WILLIAMS, 
Mary GACOYNE, and Alfred P. CARSON; 

dialogues by

Master KENNEDY,

piano duet by Lilly COTTON and Sadie WATERS; 
vocal duet by Jenny COLES and Frances MC CARTY; 
song by Emma SIMSON, and choruses by the school.  
The singing was very good indeed.  
Miss VASS and Miss CROCKER, teachers, were the accompanists.
