The pupils of Primary School No. 21, 
Miss Kate E. MC WILLIAMS, Principal, 
held their closing exercises in the school, this morning.  
The programme was as follows: 

Recitation, "The Captain's Daughter" Ida LAND; 
Recitation, selection from Moore, Annie FRANK; 
Recitation, "The Cross Children," Edward AMBRUSTER; 
Solo, Mary HUMMELL; 
German Recitation "Das Madchen aus der Fremde" Annie FRANK; 
Recitation "The ill-natured Brier," Gussie LAND; 
Recitation, "What is Life?" seven children; 
Recitation May EHRENBERG; 
Recitation, "The Wrect," Josie WILSON; 
German Recitation "Schensucht," Gertie LOHMAN; 
Recitation "Marco BOZARIS,: 
Recitation John MENCHOR; 
Recitation, Miss WHEELER; 
Solo and chorus, "Star Spangled Banner," Mrs. ORTOA and school; 
Piano and violin duet, Henry OLLENHOFER and Henry GAUSS.  

There were also several choruses by the school.  
One hundred and fifty certificates of merit were awarded.
