Commencement Exercises-Presentation of Premiums to Distinguished Scholars
A large audience attended the eighth annual commencement exercises of St. 
Patrick's Academy, corner of Kent and Willoughby avenues last evening.  The 
school is under the charge of Brother FIDELIS and a corps of the Franciscan 
Brothers.  
The exercises consisted of music by the orchestra, choruses by the scholars, 
recitation by T. CONNELL, 
vocal duet by messrs. M. AHAYES and J. CONROY, 
declamations by T. F. MC CULLOUGH and T. P. DALLON; 
vocal solos by J. KEHOE and J. A. CAMPBELL, 
song, with chorus, by J. CONNELL, 
duet and chorus by J. CONNEL, 
duet and chorus by J. BROWN  and F.BOYLE and 
address by W. H. STEWART. 
The orchestra was under the direction of Mr. FRANCKE.
