Commencement

   The annual Commencement exercises of the Packer Collegiate Institute took
place last evening in the chapel of the Institute Joralemon street.

   The graduating class was composed of the following seventeen young ladies:

The Valedictory, 
which was accompanied by a poem on 'Persephone' was read by Miss Susie Belle WILLIAMS
