The presentation of prizes :

1st Prize; silver watch awarded to James S. Murray,
for proficiency in bookkeeping, arithmetic, geometry, meusuration,
commercial law, stenography and typewriting.
2d Prize; gold medal, awarded to Edward J. McManus,
for proficiency in Christian doctrine, algebra, civil
government, literature, philosophy, stenography and typewriting.
3rd Prize; gold medal, William J. Lee,
for penmanship, composition, music, algebra, arithmetic,
stenography and typewriting.
4th Prize; gold medal, Martin S. Brennan,
for composition, arithmetic, meusuration, history, commercial law,
stenography and typewriting.
5th Prize; gold medal, Philip J. Cleary
for deportment, application, bookkeeping, stenography and typewriting.
6th Prize; gold medal, James D. Holder
for penmanship, literature, grammar, composition, commercial law,
stenography and typewriting.
7th Prize; gold medal, John A. Potts
for penmanship, bookkeeping, geometry, meusuration,
stenography and typewriting.
8th Prize; gold modal, Matthew A. Keating
for elocution, penmanship, arithmetic and mensuration.
Special prizes, gold medals, were also awarded to
James P. Dunn and William A. O'Conner,
proficiency in typewriting.
