Grammar School No. 34

Forty-nine pretty young girls and bright young men
graduated from Grammar School No. 34 last night.
The exercises were held in the Tabernacle M.E. Church,
Manhattan Ave., near Noble St. The large edifice was
packed early in the evening by the friends of the
graduates. The interior of the church was handsomely
decoratedd and draped with flags, while the stage was
banked with flowers and potted plants.
A little after 8 pm the graduates, headed by Principal
Frank R. Moore, marched on the stage. 

The following programme was carried out by the various participants

Dr. Henry A  Powell, who was to have made the address to the graduates, 
was absent, and Rev. E.S. Kavanaugh, the pastor of the Tabernacle M.E. Church, 
made a brief address.
