Grammar School No. 25
The Brooklyn Standard
Class of FEBRUARY 1893

Lafayette Ave., near Throop Ave.
graduated 110 pupils last night, amid flowers, music
and speechmaking, and in the presence of an audience that
crowded the hall of the Girls' High School, at Nostrand Ave
and Halsey St., to the very doors. A few minutes after
8 o'clock, to the music of a processional march,
played by Miss Jessie V. NASH.
Principal Charles E. Tuthill

The exercises consisted of essays, vocal and instrumental
solos, and the presentation of diplomas to the graduates by
Chairman Davis. Applause was liberal and hearty, and it
was evident the audience greatly enjoyed the programme.
The front of the stage was a dream of beauty, with its red
and white roses, and tasteful decorations.
