ST. FRANCIS Commencement Excerises of the College Yesterday Afternoon.
LIST OF PRIZE WINNERS.
It was graduation day yesterday for the students of St. Francis College, on 
Butler Street, and, despite the rain and bad weather, the Academy of Music, 
wrer the exercises took place held a good audience of the families and friends 
of the Pupils.

Bishop McDONNELL sat to the left of the stage facing the students. Vicar- 
General James McNAMARA, Brother Jerome, president of St. Francis; Brother 
Paul, Vice-president; Dr. joseph P.  O'CONNELL, chairman of the Board of 
examiners; Father Thomas HORAN os St Thomas Aquinas, Father Herbert FARREL of 
St Xavier's, Father M. T. KILAHY of St. Stephen's, Father James J. McCUSKIE 
of the church of Assumption, Father McEUTEE of St. Agnes, Father James LANGEN 
of St. Patrick's, FATHER Lewis T. McGINN, Brother Leldor, Prof. Francis 
ULRICH, Prof. Secundo, MARCHISLO and Prof. James A. GARVEY also occupied 
seats on the platform.

Each student, as he received his diploma or award from the hands of the 
college officer, turned to the Bishop, and Kneeling at his feet, kissed the 
Bishop's ring. The parting address was made by Rev. M. J. Kilaby, and the 
Bishop McDONNELL spoke final words of adomonition and counsel, and the 
commencement excerises of 1803 were at an end.
DAILEY'S orchestra furnished inspiring music.
