THIRTY BOYS AND GIRLS ARE GRADUATED

No commencement exercises marked the graduation of the thirty boys and
girls of Public School No. 31, yesterday. They were dismissed from the
school at 12 o'clock, and those who had elected to attend High Schools were
told to report there at 1 o'clock.

No. 31 is one of the oldest schools of Brooklyn, and there is no assembly
room as there is in No. 126, on Meserole avenue, and the only time exercises
could be held would be after school hours so as not to disturb the other classes.
