GRADUATES IN PHARMACY
Eight Women in the Brooklyn College Class of 126 - Medals Presented

One hundred and twenty-six graduates of the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy, 
of whom eight were women, received diplomas at the annual commencement 
exercises held in the Baptist Temple last night.  Nine of these graduated 
as doctors of pharmacy, in the post-graduate course.

       The valedictorian was Adrian PARADIS, and his address was on 
"Chemistry-Some of its Relations to Commerce."

Adrian PARADIS, the president of the college, presented the college medals to:

Rosalie SOOKNE received the alumni prize from Edward KLINE, 
president of the Alumni Association.  It was a hansome microscope.

After the graduation exercises, the graduates and their friends attended 
a baquet and reception given them by the Alumni Association at the Imperial.  
Two hundred sat down.  After the dinner William H. WEYGANDT received a 
microscope from his fellow alumni.  There were several short speeches 
from the hosts and their guests.
