St Vincent de Paul's school
28 June 1906
Brooklyn Evening Standard

North Sixth street
Rev. Father Carroll, head

The entertainment given by the girls of St. Vincent de Paul's Academy
at the school building in North Sixth street, near Bedford
avenue was repeated last evening before an audience fully as large
as that present on the first night. In addition to the entertainment
the members of the graduating class received their diplomas and
listened to an address by the Rev. Father CARROLL, the pastor of
St. Vincent de Paul's. The first part of the entertainment
consisted of a vocal selection by the girl's chorus.
This was followed by several recitations and drills by the girls
and also another selection by the chorus. Then came the presentation
of diplomas and the address of the evening. The entertainment came
to a close with the presentation of the operetta,
" Lucille, the Princess of Poppyland."
