In the lower auditorium of the Hebrew Educational Society Building, 
Pitkin avenue and Watkins street, yesterday afternoon the commencement 
exercises  of the KAPLAN School of Brownsville was held.
The auditorium was crowded to its utmost capacity by relatives and friends 
of the graduates,by whom the programme rendered was highly appreciated.
 During the exercises Miss Mary SHOFAR, one of  the graduates, on behalf 
of the class, presented Miss KAPLAN, the principal of the school, with a
 handsome lifesize portrait of herself. Dr. Milton  REIZENSTEIN was chairman.
