COMMENCEMENT OF ST. MICHAEL'S SCHOOL
4th avenue & 42d street, South Bklyn 2 May 1907 Brooklyn Standard Union The annual commencement of St. Michael's School, which is in charge of the Sisters of St. Joseph, was held last evening at Prospect Hall. The spacious hall was filled, 1,800 persons attending. The programme was a diversified one, songs were well rendered, the choruses were splendid and the military drills were given with a precision that would do credit to regulars. Diplomas were awarded by the pastor, the Rev. William T. McGUIRE, who spoke a few words of encouragement to the graduates. The school is in charge of Sister Berchman, to whom much credit for last night's success is due. The pupils graduated last night have all entered the high school. They are: Martin CHILDS, Thomas McCORMICK, Walter FITZGERALD, Daniel McVARISH, Joseph CORRIGAN, Oliver WALSH, Daniel McPARLAND, Harry DONAGHY, J. SCHNEIDER, Eugene STRITTMATTER, Richard McDAID, Ricardo ALENEE [ALENCE?], Edmond CONDON, Edward MERRY, John CARTY, Frank BESCHER, Edward CULLEN, Lucy WATKINS, Frances MOONEY, May LEVY, Gertrude DOWD, Margaret BURKE, Mary DE SANTIS, Phillipene QUINN, Helen O'NEIL, Mary DONNELLY and Winnifred CASSIDY.
