Brooklyn Daily Standard Union January 26, 1910 P.S. 106 PRESENTS 77 WITH DIPLOMAS Grammar School 106, Cornelia street, of which Joseph V. WITHERBEE is principal, held its commencement exercises at 10:30 this morning, when 77 graduates were presented with diplomas at having concluded their elementary school course. The students were responsible for the greater part of a very entertaining programme, which included recitations, a scene from "Julius Caesar," songs and a fan drill, in addition to addresses to the graduates by Frank I. BROWN and District Superintendent S. T. STEWART. Nellie BRINK recited "The Vain King," by Prof. VAN DYKE; Isidore SCHOTTLANDER read "The Relief of Lucknow," and Matthew SPALLETTA and Nathan PALZER appeared in the famous quarrel scene from Shakespeare's tragedy.
