AWARD CONTEST PRIZES TO PAROCHIAL SCHOOLS

Prize winners were announced today by the Brooklyn Tuberculosis
Committee in a composition contest it conducted recently amont the
parochial schools of Brooklyn as part of its health education
activities.  The contestants wrote on the topic My Country and My
Health.  More than 2500 children competed, and first and second prizes
were awarded to the girls' and boys' sections of twelve schools.  The
winners were allowed to choose their own prizes.  These ranged from
baseball equipment to gold ornaments.

The winners in the various schools were as follows:
