Commencement at Cathedral College June 1920
Vicar-General KAUPERT Presides and Awards Prizes for Excellence in 
Scholarship

The commencement exercises of the Cathedral College of the Immaculate 
Conception were held yesterday in the college assembly hall, Washington and 
Atlantic avenues, the Rev. George KAUPERT, vicar general, presiding. 

General Excellence in College Gold medal, William DALY, of fourth year; 
silver medal , Patrick McLAUGHLIN, third year. 

General Excellence in fifth year, William MOYLES; in second year, Charles 
BLOSSFELD, in first year, John CARBERRY.

Medal for latin in fifth year, Adam PKUNDSTEIN; fourth year, Henry DOBBIN; 
third year, Patrick McLAUGHLIN; second year, Kenneth O'HARA; first year John 
CARBERRY and Jeremiah McLAUGHLIN.

Gold medal, first prize in elocution, Edward DEGNAN; silver medal, second 
prize, Henry DOBBIN.

The Duval Gold medal, for best essay on Immacculate Conception, Wendell 
O'SHAUGHNESSY; silver medal, Edward HANRAHAN.

Gold medal, first prize, in Christian Doctrine, John CARBERRY, of first year; 
silver medal, William MOYLES.
