15 ARE GRADUATED AT FRIENDS SCHOOL
Special Prizes Awarded to Honor Students

The Friends School held its annual graduation exercises 
and reception in the Meeting House last evening under 
the supervision of the principal, Guy W. Chipman.  
An address was given by President Aydelotte of Swarthmore College.  
Fifteen received diplomas, present by the principal. 
The graduates are :

Roger W. HOLMES
Louise H. MERRITT
Mary C. PANGBORN
Lewis S. PILCHER 2d
Viginia ROWLAND
Hazel G. ROBINSON
Mary C. SNYDER
Edward R. STABLER
Helen E. STURGIS
Katharine TURNER
Constance I. WILLIAMS

Prizes were awarded by 
Will Walter Jackson, chairman of the board of  trustees.  
In mathematics : 
Everton H. SNYDER won the first-year prize
Irma Trix BRYANT, second-year
Ayres SEAMAN, third-year
Mary PANGBORN, fourth-year.  

Miss BANGBORN's name was engraved on the scholarship tablet for 
having maintained the highest general grade for the four years. 

The Morris B. Jackson memorial prize of $10 for the senior best 
representing the ideals of Friends School was awarded to :
Roger W. HOLMES.  
Benjamin D. HAMILTON won the prize for the highest athletic 
ability and development.

The seniors held their class day excercises, 
which included the reading of ;
the class history by Helen STURGIS, 
the class prophecy by Howard BOWNS, 
the valedictory by Mary PANGBORN 
and the presentation of the class gift to the school by Katharine TURNER.  
The juniors entertained the seniors and the High School facilty at a 
luncheon in the school dining room.
