Ninth Annual School Exhibit at Botanic Garden Produces
Creditable Specimens
MANY PRIZES AWARDED
Trophies and Books Presented for Outstanding Products
Th ninth annual garden exhibit for the boys and girls of the
borough which closed yesterday at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
showed several new and interesting features. First among
these were the numbers of small exhibits. . . There were a
great many individual exhibits, a few boys and girls from
schools all over the borough bringing in their own products
rather than massing them with school exhibits.
Judged by Experts
The judges of the exhibition this year were :
Robert J. POTTER, Garden Supervisor of West Orange, New Jersey;
Miss Nellie S. TRUMAN, Director of Brooklyn Girl Scouts and Montague FREE,
Horticulturist of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
