(It is on the Brooklyn Queens border. The ball field is in front of
the school which is on Jamaica Ave. The el elevated train Jamaica line
stopped there at Elderts Lane. If you lived in Woodhaven you went there 
along with Brooklyn students.)

GRADUATES 151 IN JUNIOR DEPT.
An elaborate programme was held last night in honor of the junior department 
of Franklin K. Lane High School, Evergreen avenue and Covert street, of
which Charles E. Springmeyer is principal.  In the general course, 
ninety-three pupils were graduated and fifty-eight pupils were graduated in the
commercial course.

The Rev. Charles H. Dort, of the Holy Trinity
Evangelical English Lutheran Church, read a Scripture lesson.  
The school orchestra played selections.  
The prize winning trio who gained the new Music Week medal also played.  
The Girls' Glee Club sang.  
The foreign languages classes sang "Integer Vitae," a Latin ode, and
Roget de Lisle "La Marseillaise."  
Pupils presented Rostand's little play "The Romancers."
