June 1920

Richmond Hill High School graduated the largest class in its history last 
night when 114 boys and girls received diplomas at the commencement exercises 
in the auditorium of the school.
 
Elsie SCHIFFERDECKER introduced representatives of the language department, 
who featured the various languages in conversations; 
Ruth S. BUCKLAND and James J. MILLIGAN in Spanish, 
Marjorie M. POTTER, 
Helen E. SMART, 
Bernard SEGALL and Girard E. WHEELER in French, 
George E. HUNT in Latin. 

The Rev. Rolla E. HUNT, pastor on the Richmond Hill Baptist Church, 
addressed the graduates. 
The class song, "Hail Minnesota," to which Miss Ruth KAPINAS wrote the words, 
was sung by the graduates.
