St. Monica's Parachial School

The graduation exercises of St. Monica's Parachial School were held
Tuesday evening.  The Rev. Richard A. SCHENCK, rector of St. Monica's
Church, presided.  "The Stolen Necklase", a musical drama in three acts,
written for the occasion by Father SCHENCK, was presented by the
children, and Joseph P. RUDDEN, of Jamaica, addressed the graduates,
urging the continuance of their education in higher schools. 
 
Alice IRWIN was valedictorian.  
Gold medals were awarded to Edward RILEY, for excellence in the boys' 
	department, medal donated by Father SCHENCK;
Alice IRWIN, for excellence in the girls' department, donated by Father	SCHENECK; 
Thomas CONNOLLY, for Christian doctrine, donated by the Rev.Frances P. FLANNAGA; N
orine GILAN, christian doctrine, donation by St.Monica Holy Name Society; 
Ralph O'MALLEY, for English, donation by Supreme Court Justince Leander B. FABER; 
Alice IRWIN for English, donation by John ADIKES; 
Henry MEYER, for history, donation by William CROSS,
James LOWE; history donation by John FARRELL.
