Fritscher Graduates from Wesleyan University

Charles H. Fritscher, son of Mrs. Freda Fritscher, of 703 Seneca Ave., was 
graduated from Wesleyan Univ., on June 18. In college he was active  in 
many of the extra-curricula activities. He was a member of the cross 
country team and track squad.  He was editor-in-chief of the yearbook, the 
Wesleyan Olla Podrida, and a member of the publications board.  He was 
chairman of the college agencies committee and the sophomore flag scrap 
committee. He was a member of Der Deutsche Verein and the college field 
band. He was elected to Pi Delta Epsilon, the honorary journalistic 
fraternity of America, and a member of Phi Nu Theta Fraternity. He majored 
in economics and plans to enter banking.

Helen Mehl Tendered Graduation Party

A graduation party was given at Trommer's on Sunday, June 23, at 6 pm, in 
honor of Miss Helen Mehl.  She graduated February last, but 
Bishop  McDonnell Memorial High School, which she attended, conferred the 
diplomas Sunday at 3 pm.  She was the youngest graduate, being only fifteen 
and one-half years old.

Ridgewoodite Wins Honors

Milton P. Kinsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. David P. Kinsey, of Foxall St., won 
the Hon. Chas. H. Duell scholarship prize at Hamilton College, where he has 
taken several honors.

He has been elected an officer of his fraternity, which same is Lambda Xi 
Sigma.  He is a graduate of P.S. 88, Ridgewood, and Richmond Hill High.
