School Teacher Awarded First Prize of $3,000
  
The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow was discovered today by 
Thirty-three lucky readers of the Standard Union with the announcement of the 
prize winner in the Missing Words Contest, which has been entertaining 
thousands for the past two months.
  
The prizes meant many things to many people,health or wealth or whatever 
the individual's personal idea of happiness is.
   ''I'm quite dazed'', said Mrs.Mildred ABRAHAMS,of 239 Ocean avenue,when 
informed today, in her modest three room apartment, that she would receive a 
check for $3,000 for the first prize.
    
The judges in the contest were; 
Aaron L.JACOBY, Sheriff of Kings County, 
a prominent banker and executive of charitable institutions; 
Prof. S.Marion TUCKER, of Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute's English department; 
Dr.John H.REB, a well-known physician of 16 South Portland avenue.
