St. George's Episcopal Church is part of the parish of Calvary-St. George's, which has been active in New York since before the Revolutionary War. The church, on Manhattan's lower east side, was the location of George Jardine's most famous organ of the late 19th century. One of America's first unencased instruments, the four-manual organ in the rear gallery featured flared reeds around a clock Back To MANHATTAN CHURCH PHOTOS Main Index Back To MANHATTAN Main Back To WORSHIP Main Back To BROOKLYN Main
