GIRL FATALLY HURT BY FIFTEEN FOOT FALL
Martha THOMAS, 5 years old, of 101 Freeman street, was 
playing on the rear veranda of her home yesterday 
afternoon when she fell to the yard, a distance of 
fifteen feet. She sustained internal injuries and was
removed to St. Catherine's Hospital by Ambulance 
Surgeon MARTENSE, where she died to-day.

PLAYING WITH MATCHES,CHILD SERIOUSLY BURNED
Ten-year-old Elsie OFLONDER played with lighted matches yesterday
afternoon in the rear yard of her home, 341 Forty-fourth street.  Her
dress took fire, and she was burned seriously on the body and face.  She
was taken to the Norwegian Hospital.

"SUICIDES'S SHOT STIRS SURBURAN SLEEPERS"
"Sleepers on Hillside avenue, Corona, were roused out of bed in the early 
hours of to-day by a pistol shot.  An investigation showed that Giuseppi 
PRIMO, 30 years old, of 9 Hillside avenue, lying in his yard unconscious 
from a pistol shot in the head.  He was removed to the Flushing Hospital.

PRIMO, is believed to have shot himself while despondent.  He is a bartender 
by occupation, but his friends know of no reason for his act.  His own 
revolver, with a chamber discharged, lay beside him when he was found".

"DOCTORS AND PRIESTS AT DUHIGG FUNERAL"
"Hundreds of physicians, priests and laymen prominent in the Catholic life 
attended the mass celebrated to-day at St. Finbar's Church over the remains 
of Dr. Bernard DUHIGG, the well known Bath Beach physician, who died Tuesday 
at St. James.  The body was buried at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The Rev. James 
DOLAN of St. Finbar's Church was master of the ceremonies, 
the Rev. Patrick J. MANTON, of St. Ambroses's Church, 
celebrant, the Rev. Maurice FITZGERALD of St. Gregory's Church, 
deacon, and the Rev. Peter RICKERT of the Church of Our Lady of Angels, sub-deacon.

"RUPPS NOW RECONCILED: WIFE QUITES SUFFRAGE"
"Mr. and Mrs. RUFF, of Glenmore avenue, have become reconciled.  THey have 
signed articles of agreement in the presence of a lawyer by which Mrs. RUPP 
promises to speak no more for the cause of woman suffrage, and her husband 
promises to support his family as he has in the past.  All legal proceedings 
have been called off."

for divorce against Aloysius G. HALLERAN.

BLUM GETS DIVORCE AND CUSTODY OF CHILD
Samuel BLUM, of Corona, who is under indictment for stealing his own 
child, was yesterday granted an absolute divorce from his wife, Goldie.  He 
was given custody of the child Eugene 4 years old.  The indictment for 
kidnapping will probably be quashed.

MINKELSTEIN BOY FALLS FROM THE FIRE ESCAPE
Concussion of the brain was last night sustained by ten-year-old Harry 
MINKELSTEIN in a fall from a second-story fire escape to the rear yard of 
his home, at 56 Floyd street.  The boy was attended and left at the house by 
Dr. FEINER, Of the Williamsburg Hospital.
