NORWEGIAN SAILOR BLOWS OUT THE GAS Elling HOFF, 28 years old, a Norwegian sailor, of 31 Second place, was familiar with the ways of city life, but was subject to spells of absent -mindedness. He had one yesterday and when he went to his room last night, he blew out the gas. His housekeeper, Hannah LAWSON, found him unconscious today. Dr. BORGIA, of Swedish Hospital said he was dead. One Brooklyn family has a record of two dead and two sick. Charles HUDSON, 36, of 432 Halsey street, died on Wednesday in the Bushwick Hospital of the disease, and his brother, George HUDSON, died last evening of the same disease.
