Charged with strychnine killing of his wife, Harriet, 24, in December, 1943.
Charges that he also poisoned his mother-in-law, Gussie BERKOWITZ, 56, of
379 Rockaway Parkway, Brooklyn in 1941, were dismissed.

Angelina Rose MESSINA, 58, chairman and curator of the department of 
micropaleontology at the American Museum of Natural History, died yesterday, 
She won international recognition for her work with foraminiferra, a minute 
single cell organism, and co-authored several technical books. She once 
taught at Brooklyn college, and at the time of her death was adjunct 
professor in the department of geology at Rutgers University, president of 
the Eastern Section of the Society of Economic Paleontology and Mineralogy, 
and a member of the numerous science organizations. She lived at 1 Grace Ter.

JONATHAN G. SHERMAN, JR.
Syracuse,N.Y.,Nov 20 (AP)
-the teen-age son of the Episcopal bishop of Long Island was found dead today 
beneath a 55-foot-high overpass. A medical examiner said Jonathan G. SHERMAN, 
JR., 19, of Garden City L. I.  died of a skull fracture suffered in an 
accidental fall. SHERMAN, the son of Bishop and Mrs. Jonathan G. SHERMAN. was 
a sophomore in the College Of the Arts at Syracuse University.
