A Social, Literary and Artistic Association-
Some of the Gentlemen who are Connected with it

The Hamilton Club, of this city, which has just been incorporated, 
will hold a meeting this evening in the gallery of the Art Association, 
when the purposes of the club will be fully set forth. 
The incorporators are

The club is formed for literary, artistic, economic and 
social purposes and to establish a library and gallery or collection 
of pictures and statuary. The membership of the club is already nearly 
two hundred.

The entrance fee for resident members in $50 and $30 for non-resident
members. When the whole number of members is 300, the entrance fee for 
members will be $100 and non-resident $50. The annual dues of resident 
and non-resident members is $36 and $20 respectively. 
No betting or card playing will be allowed in the club rooms.
