Young Men’s Legion of Honor
Brooklyn Union Argus June 21, 1882 Young Men’s Legion of Honor The first public meeting of the Young Men’s Legion of Honor was held last evening at the Duryea Chapel on Clermont, near Atlantic avenue. The Legion of Honor is a literary association, composed of the young men of the Duryea Chapel and has been in existence only three months, during which time it has made large gains in membership. The entertainment of last evening was very good and was fully appreciated by the audience. Those who took part were the President, Wm. M. BROWN, Miss Jennie DOW, Mr. E.G. OSTRANDER, Mr. August KABB, Mr. J. LLOYD, Mr. H. G. CHANT, Mr. S. CHESTER, Mr. Robert FIELD, Mr.KNIPSCHILD, Mr. SILLIMAN, Miss Mary LE CLAIRE, Miss Sarah MacKNIGHT, Miss Helen G. NICHOL, The Never Practice Quartet, Messrs. E. and R. FIELD, J. G. KRIGELOH. Mrs. Marion L. DUTCHER also gave two recitations and was recalled each time.
