AMERICAN LEGION HONORS BORO GOLD STAR MOTHERS SOON TO SAIL FOR FRANCE
Notables to Speak at Elks Club Luncheon Saturday

    Forty-eight gold star mothers of Brooklyn who will sail shortly to visit
the graves of their sons in France will be guests of the County American
Legion at a luncheon Saturday at the Elks Club.

    County Commander James H. JOHNSON is expected to preside and the
speakers will include:

the Rev. J.H.S. PUTNAM, chaplain of the American legion;
