Eastern District School
The closing exercises of Primary School No. 36, were held in the school 
this morning.  
The pupils were out in force, and all the spare seats were occupied 
by their relatives and friends.  
The programme was as follows: 
Declamation, "Nobody's Child, " Tillie HAUFF; 
reading, "Whistling in Heaven," Emma BAUMEISTER; 
declamation, "Johnney's Opinion of Grandmother," Benedict HERMAN; 
reading, "The Pilot," Ida STERN; 
declamation, "The Mysterious Guest,", Oscar Mebling; 
reading, "On Board the Cumberland," Carrie SISE; 
reading, "the Little Rid Hip," Sadie Thompson; 
solo, "My Dearest Dear Little Heart," 
declamation, "Don't Want to be Good," William SCHLAUROFF; 
reading "That Hired Girl," Lottie STROHMEYER; 
recitation, "The Dead Doll," Lizzie BENDER; 
reading "How We Caught a Mouse," Otto STAUFER. 

There was also chorus singing by the school.  
Addresses were made by Masters Daniel MAUJER, and Dr. C. R. DOANE. 
Principals Miss FENEBALL and Mr. J. B. WOODWARTH were presented with flowers.
