FROEBEL ACADEMY GRADUATES ELEVEN

SOMERS Makes Address - Class Presents Picture Commencement Exercises were held last evening at Froebel Academy, at which diplomas were awarded to eleven graduates. It was the forty-second commencement at the school and was attended by about 150 persons. The speaker was Arthur S. SOMERS, Brooklyn member of the Board of Education. The graduation class presented a picture to the school which was accepted by Mrs. L. J. FORBES, the principal. Edwin L. GARVIN, former U.S. District Judge and a graduate of Froebel Academy forty years ago, on behalf of the Board of Trustees presented diplomas to the following students: Helen Cross BAKER, Jean Mary CAMPBELL, Herbert Horten CORNELL, William Warren GODDARD, Katherine Phillipine GROSS, Alvah Nelson NICHOLS, Ruth Charity NORRIS, Barbara ROWE, John Richard SCHIPPERS, Cordelia STONE Robert Clobridge WHITCOMB.
