MARQUAND SCHOOL HOLDS EXERCISES FOR 20 GRADUATES
June 1929 Brooklyn Daily Standard Union Arthur S. SOMERS Addresses Gathering at Central 'Y' Branch Marquand School held its commencement exercises in the Central Y.M.C.A. auditorium, 55 Hanson place, last evening. The Rev. Herbert H. FIELD, D. D., pastor of the Flatbush Presbyterian Church, made the invocation; -Frederic J. MANN made the senior address -Arthur S. SOMERS, of the Board of Education, made the commencement address. Edward L. L. GARVIN presented diplomas and L. H. CALVERT, headmaster, announced the honors and prizes. The following boys were graduated: Class president, Jackson E. McCANN; Class vice-president, Frank J.
