RELATIVES TO SHARE IN PROPERTY OF H.P. ALBRECHTSEN
2 Children Left $1 Each by Will of Rachel BECKER - Other Wills are Filed

A daughter and two grandchildren are the beneficiaries of the estate of
Henry P. ALBRECHTSEN, a butcher in businss for 35 years on 6th Ave., near
10th St., who died May 31, under the terms of his will filed for probate
with Surrogate WINGATE.  The estate was formally valued in a petition at
"more than $10,000."

ALBRECHTSEN, who lived at 424 3d St., left $5,000 to a granddaughter,
Mildred Anna FERRIS.  Four-fifths of the residuary estate is to go to a
daughter, Mabel M. FERRIS, and the other fourth in trust to a grandson,
Harold ALBRECHTSEN.

Rachel BECKER
Mrs. Rachel BECKER, 698 Stone Ave., who died May 4, left $1 apiece to two
children, Harry BECKER and Bertha GOODMAN.  Out of the residue of the estate
which was valued at $3,000, she left 10 percent to the Chevra Bnai Jacob
Anshe Svard of East New York and 15 percent to the Brooklyn Home for the
Aged.  The remainder was left equally to two children, Alfred BECKER and
Pearl ROSEN, and two sisters, Beckie WOOLMAN, and Bessie BUTLER.

Rosa GRATZ
Mrs. Rosa GRATZ, 937 St. Mark's Ave., who died June 9, left her entire
estate in trust for a daughter, Irma CURTIS, and a granddaughter, Irma
CURTIS, both of the St. Mark's Ave. address.  A petition formally appraised
the estate at "more than $5,000."

The will names a brother, Eugene B. BAEHR, and the Chase National Bank
executors of the estate and empowers them to appoint a representative to act
as director of the William R. GRATZ Importing Company of which the decedent
was majority stockholder.

Frank E. LATUS
Frank E. LATUS, 260 E. 16th St., who died May 25, left an estate of $14,200,
according to a petition, all to his widow, Mrs. Florence LATUS, of the same address.

The will of Gerald M. De WALTOFF who died August 10. in his home, 580 73rd 
St. was filed for probate in Surrogate's Court on Wednesday. The estate

CHILD HURT IN FALL
Abe LEVY,4, of 6605 20th Ave suffered a possible fracture of the right ankle 
yesterday when he fell while playing at home. He was attended by Dr. RATZAN 
of the Israel Zion Hospital and removed to that institution.

BETTIE WEADON TO ENTER RUSSELL SAGE COLLEGE
Miss Bettie WEADON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John SAUNDERS. WEADON of 113 
Senator St., will leave Sept. 4 to enter Russell Sage College, Troy, N.Y. 
Miss WEADON, who was gaduated last February from Bay Ridge High School, has 
been a member of the news staff of Home Talk and Eagle.

DRUGGIST BRINGS ASSAULT CHARGE
Thomas KANE, 33 of 679 40th St., was arraigned in bay Ridge Court yesterday 
before Magistrate Mason charged with assault in the third degree. The case 
was adjourned until Sept. 4.
Nathan BERCH, a pharmacist, who gave his address as 702 44th St., was the 
complainant. He claimed that KANE struck him on the back of the head and on 
the nose with his fists and caused a possible fracture of the nose.

SHERWOOD CHILDREN MAKE TRIP TO VERMONT
Jane and Lee SHERWOOD, children of Mr. and Mrs. Al SHERWOOD Jr., of 8520 Fort 
Hamilton Parkway, have been spending the summer with Mrs. R. H. SANDLIN of 
Norfolk, Va. They are now the guests of Mrs. Virgil GORE of Staunton, Va.

MAN AND WOMAN INJURED
Ellen STEIN, 61, of 1308 42nd St. and George STEIN, 61, of 4201 13th Ave., 
suffered lacerations of the scalp yesterday, when they were struck with a 
stick of wood, according to the police, during an altercation with a 
neighbor. The injured people were attended by Dr. ELPERIN of Israel Zion 
Hospital.

TREATED FOR WHOOPING COUGH
Martha ROBBASTAD, 3, of 263 69th St., suffered an attack of whooping cough on

St., entertained at a porch party at Mrs. DOWNING's home on Wednesday 
afternoon. Proceeds were for the benefit of the Women's League of the Ocean 
Avenue Congregational Church.
