Swedish Hospital Nurses Graduate
Sterling Place and Rogers Avenue

The 20th annual commencement of the Swedish Hospital of 
the School of Nursing,  was held in the 
Gallery of Pouch Mansion, 345 Clinton Avenue, last evening.  

Elizabeth SKOGLUND of Manhattan, 
Alfreda PETERSON of Providence 
Margaret ANDERSON of Jersey City, were the three graduates.

The order of the exercises was presided over by Peter B. HANSON, 
Justice of the children's Court and president of the Board of 
Directors, of the hospital, who welcomed the friends and 
relatives of the graduates to the exercises.

The Florence Nightingale pledge was administered by 
Dr. James PULLMAN.  
Dr. Charles G. LUNDBECK made the diploma presentations and 
Constance MAGNUSON presented the graduates with class pins.  
The Reverend John EASTLUND, pastor of the Swedish Lutheran 
St. Paul's Church, offered the invocation and announced the benediction.

William L. FELTER, principal of Girls High School, addressed 
the graduates.  A reception by the ladies auxiliary of the 
Swedish Hospital was held following the exercises.
